Elements of a Respiratory Geometry

Elements of Respiratory Geometry is a pantomime text written in the disposition of Euclid’s Elements. Across thirteen books, it reconstructs geometry from a point prior to geometry itself: the establishment of the sayable. Mathematics is conceived as a sexed domain where difference precedes identity and universality arises without unification. Geometry thus becomes not a science of space but an architectonics of articulation, whose figures—cut, seal, fold, threshold, field—operate as gestures through which thought learns to inhabit its own dimensionality.
